RECENT PENROSE FATALITY By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night- ' Percy Dare, a returned soldier, aged •24, was arrested at Poria, mar slangonui, and charged with the murder of Arthur Horton, who was run over and killed by a motor-car at Penrose on Monday of last week. It is alleged Dare was the driver of the car. [Mr. Horton, who was a married man with two children, was cycling along Church Street, Penrose, on his way to Westfield, where he was employed as a greaser, when he was overtaken and run over by a motor-car that was being driven toward Onehunga. It is stated that the car did not stop, but kept on its way at a fast pace. Mr. Horton subsequently died in the hospital.]
