WAR CONTINGENT ASSOCIATION. London, Nov. 20. As it was understood that the New Zealand War Contingent Association was bringing its activities to a close with a substantial balance in hand, the Returned Soldiers' Association (British Section) made an application to the Association for a, grant from its surplus to assist in running its rooms in London during the coming year. An office has been established in Chancery Lane, through the energy of Mr. J. I. Fox, and for the next few months two rooms will be available in the same buildm," where discharged New Zealand soldfers who happen to be in London may meet and read their newspapers.
