INDIAN FRONTIER.
THE TRIBESMEN UNTRUSTWORTHY FIGHTING RESUMED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Jan. 30, 8.15 p.m. Bombay, Jan. 29. Advices from Sorarogha state the prospects of peace with the tribesmen are remote, owing to their neglect to fulfil the undertakings recently given at Jandola. Consequently severe reprisals were adopted. Kotskai Tower was blown up, and the destruction of other valuable property will continue. Our troops steadily advance, despite sniping and attacks on pickets and covering troops, which were easily repulsed. Reinforcements have arrived in readiness for the next advance.—Reuter Service.
