The Australian Workers' Union Conference debated at length and negatived a proposal in favor of taking a plebiscite on the one big union proposal. It is stated the idea of the Australian Workers' Union officers is to extend their scope so that it could control the political administration of the Common-wealth.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
