Christchureh, Last Night. M. Edwards, a well-known trainer and driver of, light harness horses,, suffered a slight fracture of the spine as a result 6f a mishap on the New Brighton training track this morning. He was exercising a three-year-old colt by Logan Pointer and Skarlet Rosa when jt stumbled and fell, and Edwards was thrown from the sulky, landing on his back. t TARANAKI AUTUMN MEETING. Several horses which are racing at the Taranaki autumn meeting nert week arrived in New Plymouth yesterday, Including the teams belonging to Messrs G. L. Stead, W. It. Kembali, and G. W. Greenwood.
