By Telegraph.—Press Aggociation. _, _ Wellington Last Night The Prime Minister announced to-day that the present agreement with thV Colonial .Sugar Refining Company will not be terminated in March as intended, but will continue until the end of June] when more definite information as to the crop now growing will be available. Since November the position in regard to supplies for New Zealand has improved so considerably that the Company anticipate that in all probability eighteen months' supply for normal requirements is now in sight. Mr. Astley, representing the Colonial •'iigar Company, is now in New Zealand to confer with the Government regarding the present position of sugar supplies and future sales, of sugar to -New Zealand.
