REVIVING HAGUE TRIBUNAL. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Washington, Jan, 21. President Wilson has re-appointed the American members of the international high tribunal of arbitration at. the Hague, whose terms has lapsed during the war. It is believed that President Wilson intends to utilise the tribunal as machinery for the settlement of disputes coming up before the League of Nations.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. FINANCING LATIN AMERICA. Washington, Jan. 19. The Pan-American Financial Congress has opened. North, South, and Central American countries were invited to lay their financial needs before the United States Government. Delegates emphasised that the United States must finance Latin America or lose the trade acquired during the war. FINANCING MACHINERY. Washington, Jan. lfl. The War Finance Corporation announces thai it has granted a credit on ten million dollars' worth of machinery for England, France, Ttaly and Belgium. -Aus.-N.Z, Cable Assn. CONFISCATION OF LIQUOR. New York, Jan. 21. Three million dollars' worth of liquor have been confiscated since prohibition became effective.
