The vice-President of the Russian Cooperative Union, which negotiated the Russian trade agreement with the Supreme Council, explains that the agreement has no political character. The Union comprises twenty-five million members and operates over the whole of Bolshevik and non-Bolshevjk Russia. Us declared that Russia possessed record stocks of wheat, cereals, cattle and flax. Mr. O'Grady (a British M P. who is on a mission to Russia), in an interview in reference to the abolition of the blockade, said an agreement had been reached with Litvinoff in regard to sending British subjects in Russia certain supplies for their support.
