EVERYBODY'S. HABOLD LOCKWOOD-"PALS' FIRST."' To-night's change of programme at Everybody's presents popular Harold Lockwood on what h generally conceded to be his masterpiece, "Pals First." "Would ,yeu assume the identity of a criminal to regenerate a pal?" is a question which will he -solved in "Pals First." A mystic cede, by the use of which underworld associations are dissolved, has been utilised by Francis Perry Kliolt in titling this nevel. In the code of tlie underworld, "Pals First," spoken three times, with the right hand drawn thrice across the heart, means a severance of relations between pals, if the one to whom the sign is given does not respond in like manner. As a thief, a pickpocket, and a safe-cracker, Harold Lockwood has a most colorful role in a picture which will be numbered among the most successful parts he has ever had. "Welves of Kultur," gazette and comedy are also screened.
THE PEOPLE'S BERT LYTELL—"THE SPENDER." . "The Spender," to-night's new programme at the People's, is a particularly well suited play to the talent of Bert Lviell, the popular Metro plas'er. The story of "The Spender" is, as the name implies, a story concerning wealth and the way in whicli old Tight Wad Bisbee is reformed by his nephew and "Old Faithful's" daughter, Helen, makes as fine a story as could be wished for. The lateßt gazette and Billy West comedy, "The Messenger/' are also on the bill.
