Members of the Senate, conferring on the Treaty, postponed a discussion on the Dominions' voting power clause owing to an imminent breach of the negotiations, due to the reservationists' refusal to compromise on the point.—Aus.N.Z. The Washington correspondent of the New York Times states that while the Treaty conferences between the Republicans' and the Democrats are proceeding both sides are acting with much caution.
