TRAMWAYMEN'S DEMANDS.
A NEW CONFERENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Jan. 21. In connection with the tramway dispute a conference was held to-day bebetween the Mayor of Wellington, Mr. Morton, general manager, Mr. Cable, assistant, and representative of the Tramway Federation. Details regarding the running of the trams were discussed' at length, also the desirability of making the conditions applicable to the whole Dominion,
It was finally decided that the Mayor should call another national conference, invitations to attend to be sent to representatives of all tramway concerns. The Mayor agreed and the date of the conference was fixed for next Wednesday.
