PIGEON FLYING.
REVIVAL OF NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. : A meeting of those interested in the resuscitating of the Homing Club in Now Plymouth was held last night, there being an attendance of about a dozen fanciers. Mr. F. Julian was voted to the chair.
After pome discussion it was decided to form a new- club and start "the sport on a fresh basis, the name of the club to be the New Plymouth .Homing Club. Officers were elected as follow: Patron, Mr. George Corney; president, Mr. F. Julian; vice-presidents, Dr- Blackley, Messrs V. H. Beal and John Hurle; secretary Mr. E. V. Clay; assistant secretary, Mr. H. Moverley; treasurer, Mr. F. James; committee, the members of the club. The 1 rules of the old club were accepted for the time being. The entrance fee was fixed at 10s 6d and the annual subscription at 10s 6d. Other matters' connected with getting the operations of the club tinder way were dealt with, the hope being expressed that flying would be commenced at an early date.
