MORE PAY WANTED.
CHRISTCHTJRCH MEAT-WORKERS' DEMAND. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchureh, Last Night. The employees of the North Canterbury Sheepfarmers' Freezing Company held a meeting to-day, and subsequently presented demands to the management for an all-round increase of wages. It is understood the butchers recently received an increase of Is per day, and it is the desire of the other hands to receive the same concession.
