CRICKET.

Owing to beinjr indisposed Mr. J\ H. Robertson will bo unable to play In tho representative match on Thursday. His place will be filled by Mr. A. Bewley. Competition matches will be played as usual this week. Matches postponed from last week, owing to the rain, will be played later in the season at a date to bo arranged by the association, PATEA v. meatwokks. At Pa tea on Saturday the Pa tea Cricket Club played a team from the local meatworks, when mainly owing to the splendid innings of 93 by Cunningham, the Club players were victorious by 113 runs. For the winners Harding (23) and Tinney (18) batted well, Cunningham ,and Morris doing well with the ball. For the losers, McDouagh scored 38 and Martin 11, Martin and Words being the most successful bowlers.
