GUILTY OF INCENDIARISM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerstdn N-, Jan. 17. In the Police Court to-day a youth named William Walker, aged I'd, was charged with wilfully setting fire to a six-roomed cottage on the Weraroa State farm, the property of the New Zealand Government, on January 7. Accused, who is an inmate of the farm, pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court, Wellington, for sentence. RAILWAY OFFICERS' ORGANISATION. Dunedin, Jan. 17. The Railway Officers' Institute last night discussed a scheme for the reorganisation of the constitution, also the question of transfer of headquarters to Wellington. It was decided that the transfer be made immediately after next year's conference. At to-day's sitting Mr. R. C. Morgan, the present general secretary, was reappointed for a term of three years.
