RUMOR OF A SETTLEMENT. By Telegraph. -Press Assn.—'Jcpyrijht. Received Jan. 10, 12.30 a.m. Sydney, Jan. 15. The engineers of the Waihora, which yesterday arrived at Newcastle from Vancouver, to-day gave notice that they are on Australian articles. Reports from Melbourne state that negotiations towards a settlement of the engineers' strike are not broken off. The parties met again to-day. One unofficial report states that there is a probability of the vessels being manned on Monday-
