THE EX-KAISER.
OPPOSITION TO HIS TRIAL CAMPAIGN IN GERMANY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received Jan. 15, 12.50 a.m. London, Jan. 12 The Berlin correspondent of the Daily Chronicle states that even the Social Democrats are joining in the campaign against the extradition of the exKaiser and other war criminals. Otto Land3bergh, in an article prominently displayed in Yorwaerts, says that the trial would make the ex-Kaiser a martyr and thus play into the hands of reactionaries. He asks, Do Frenchmen and Englishmen wish to help the panGermans? The extradition will play a great part in the coming general election as a weapon against the present government.— Aus.-N.Z.
