ROSS PUTS UP A RECORD. By Telegraph —rress Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Jan. 8. Norman Ross established a world's record time in the 440 yards' swimming championship. He could have improved the time as the result was never in doubt. The 220 yards' breast, stroke championship resulted thus: Flnlny 1, Bock 2, Furaess 3. Won by six yards. Time, 3.20.
