MORE STRIKERS JOIST. By Telegraph—Pres3 Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Jan. 8. The engineers of the steamer Eastern, due to sail for Hongkong, have joined the strikers. Received Jan. 8, 9.25 p.m. Sydney, Jan. 8. Messrs. Lamb and Company have made arrangements with the engineers working their fleet of steamers engaged in the Sydney-Hew Zealand timber trade, by which these vessels will remain in commission.
