LONDON MARKETS. HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLED REPORT. The Department of Agriculture, Industries, and Commerce* has received the following cablegram, dated January 3, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London*:
"Hemp: M:inila market is active at higher prices, and {food business has been done. M' grade August-October shipment to OctoberDecember shipment sold early this week at Gr/; 10s; January-March shipment. £SB. At the close of Ihe market September-November shipment and October-December £GO 10s; Jnn.March shipment £6l. New Zealand: Market firm but quiet Highpoinls on spot early this week quoted £SB, January-March shipment £sl 10s; fair on spot. £4S; JanuaryMarch shipment £47. Highpoints now quoted at £55 on spot.
