The Indian National Congress at Amritsar adopted a motion demanding that in view of the revelations in the evidence before the Hunter Commission, General Dyer *bc removed from his command. Also in view of Sir Michael diver's endorsement of the firing on the crowd and the brutal treatment of Punjabis, the Government be requested to relieve him of his duties as a preliminary to legal proceedings.—Reuter Scrvice.
