SOUTHLAND MEETING. CONCLUDING RESULTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, Jan. 3. The Southland summer meeting concluded under mixed weather conditions. It was a record fixture for the home province in every way. The totalieator for the day handled £31,410 10s, compared with £21,611 10s for the corresponding occasion last year, the total for the meeting being £60,694 10s, as compared with £44,876 for the previous season. Results :

SUMMER HANDICAP.—Eight Bells (S. Wails) 1, 1 Bombproof 2, 2 Twinkle 3. Also ran; 6 Marching Order, 3 Prism, 11 ViceGrand. 13 Metele Drift, S Fabiola, 11 Flag Lieutenant, 10 Sartomart, 9 Fltzsoborne, i Strathglass, 12 Sunlit. Won by eight lengths. Fabiola fell and received injuries necessitating destruction. Time, 1.30 3-5.

BOSLYN TROT.—9 Seaward Spot (T. Tilson) 1, 11 Cross Battery 2, 4 MarveUe 3. Also Btarted: 5 Lucky Prince, 6 War Scot and Royal Step (coupled), 8 Jolly Major, 10 The Gunner, 1 Lenamhor, 3 Malice, 12 Gladlola, 2 Barogga. Won by halt a length. Time, 5.11 2-5.
