ACCIDENT AT MIKOTAW.

GIRL FALLS ON TO THE ROOKS. HER CONDITION CRITICAL. An unfortunate accideut befel a young girl named Mary Coombes, at the breakwater ynatcrday afternoon. She had gone with some friends on to Mikotahi, presumably to get a view of the explosion which was to take place on the island of Moturoa. By some means, however, sho missed her footing and overbalanced, falling on the rocks below and sustaining serious injuries to her heafl. Grave fears were entertained for her recovery, and in the evening it was rumored that she had succumbed. On inquiry at the hospital at a late hour last night, however, elie was reported to be still in a critical condition. The girl's age is about 10 years, and she is a (laughter of Mr. W. Coombes, of Fitzrov.
