NEW PLYMOUTH. Postal branch: Thursday Dec. 25, and Thursday January 1 (Christmas and New Year's Days), will be observed as close holidays On Friday, December 36 (Boilng Day), the post office will b3 open In all branches, except Money Order and Savings Bank, from 9 a.m to 10 a.m. The telegraph office will be op°n on Thursday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Dav), from 10 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., and from ©to 5.30 p.m. On Friday, Dec. 26 (Boxing Day), and Thursday, January 1 (New Year's Day), the hours will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and 7 p.m. to midnight. The telephone exchange wiii remain open continuously. Sunday hours will be observed in the private box lobby on Dec. 25 and January 1, usual hours on December 20 (Boxing Day). Malls usually despatched 011 Thursday will be closed Wednesday nights December 24 and 31 at 3 p.m. On December 26 (Boxing Day) the usual despatch of malls up to 8 a.m. will be made. The railway travelling post office will run as usual. Counter deliveries of town letters (including registered) will be made on Wednesdays. Dec 24 and 31, from 8 to 9 p.m. Postmen will make ono complete delivery 011 Dec. 26 (Boxing Day), commencing at 7,30 a.m. There will be no delivery on either Christmas or New Year's Day.
