A TAILORING DISPUTE.. _____ ® London, Dec, 13. [ A novel tailoring strike has been declared in London. Eight hundred East End master tailors demanded a 25 per cent, increase from merchant tailors to meet the cost of granting a 48-hour week. The demand was refused, and the Master Tailors' Federation decided to cease work. Twelve thousand members of the Workers' Union promised to support the master tailors.
