FIRES.
A THERMAL RESERVE DAMAGED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rotorua, Last Night. An extensive Are occurred on Christmas day and night at the thermal Kuirau reserve on the western side of the town of Rotorua. It was apparently started in two or three places", and it is supposed was wilfully caused. About fifteen acres of scrub was burned.
