. Paris, Dec. 23. M. Clemenceau, in the Chamber, announced that the London Conference had agreed to the various points of foreign policy, and he hoped Mr. Lloyd George would come to Paris early in January, •with a view to the settlement of the Adriatic, Russian and Eastern questions. He recalled Mr. Lloyd George's words that war was impossible if Anglo-France was united. M. Clemenceau said: "I have assured Mr. Lloyd George that whatever happens, Britain may always rely on the whole of France." (Cheers.) —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
