A Blight mistake was made in giving the final results for the hilratfovd election. The official count gives Mr. Masters a majority of (37, the figures being Masters 3,121j and Hine 3,054. The total number of valid votes polled was 0,175 and 48 were rejected as informal. The official figures on the licencing poll are: Continuance 2,345, State Purchase and Control 207, Prohibition 3564; majority for prohibition, 1,009. Mr. A. J. Barr presented a statement to a meeting of the executive of the A. and P. Association on Tuesday showing. the financial position in connection with the recent show to be as follows: Receipts from all sources, £'2ti2o; outstanding amount to come (not including subscriptions), £140; total, £2300.
