DISASTROUS FIRE.
TKN LOSE Til KIR LIVKS. Received Dec. 27. 12.20' a.m. « London, Dee. 24. There wits another disastrous lire in i Ilicp buildings at Newcastle in the centre of the city. A large number of employees, -nclmling many girl clerks, were trapped and compelled to jump f-'om a height- of ninety feet into sheets held tit the roadway. Several missed the sheets, and olhers were burned with fatal results. There was a total of ten deaths.—United Service.
