-deceived Dec. 24, 12.5 a.m. Delhi, Dec. 22. Official news from Waziristaii shows that the troops encountered a stubborn resistance from the Marsuds and the Wana Wazirs in capturing the hills in the neighborhood of Mandanna and Kach. The 07th Brigade had heavy fighting, on the 19th inst. and on the 20th inst., and it was only on the following day that they succeeded in attaining their objective.
