ENTERTAINMENTS.

EVERYBODY'S,

"HEART OP THE SUNSET."

Described as Rex Beach's great screen classic of the great southwest, "Heart of the Sunset" can be said to earn the title of the '•picture of 100 thrills." Alaire Austin, a lovely young ranehwoman, and the bride of a dissolute husband, though in love with a daring Texas ranger, is the heroine of the border. Fate and Rex Beach conspire to find a way out, and as usual with this combination, they are entirely successful in seven reels of dramatic punch and action. Rex Beach is known as the author who always provides a compelling story, and never sacrifices his effects to the tfrhims of gome star. He invariably selects his actors for tbeir suitability to the character required by the exigencies of the story, and not for any fictitious box-office value th'jy may possess. "Heart of the Sunset" shows at Everybody's to-night and to-morrow night. The'supporting pictures include the final adventure of "The Scarlet Runner" and the Topical Gazette.

THE PEOPLE'S. LAST NIGHT OF "LITTLE WOMEN.'' The fascinating theme "Little Women," screening to-night for the last time at the People's, is a graphic picturisation of Louisa M. Alcott's story of the same name. The bill includes the film of Hawker's great trans-Atlantic flight and his reception in Scotland and London by the enormous crowds and is particularly inspiring. FATTY ARBUCKLE TO-MORROW.

As is usual with the People's Theatre something choice has been procured for to-morrow and Christmas eve, for no less a body than the redoubtable Roscoe, otherwise "Fatty", Arbuckle graces tomorrow's new bill. Arbuckle shows at the great Christmas matinee on Wednesday and finally Wednesday night. Lila Lee is the dramatic star on this bill in her very fine piece, "The Secret Garden."
