There has been a development in the engineers' strike indicating that it may spread to vessels on foreign articles. The Eastern and Australian steamer St. Albans was due to sail yesterday for Japan via ports, when the engineers refused to sail and the vessel was hung up. ANTI-PROFITEERING BILL. Sydney, Dec. 19. The Legislative .Council passed the Anti-Profiteering Act. MR. MEAGHER'S CASE. Sydney, Dec. 19.
