A LITTLE GIRL KILLED. 1 By Telegraph:—Press Assoration. Wellington, Last Night, A fatal motor acccident occurred in Cuba Street this afternoon. As far as can be gathered an Army Service Corps motor lorry was proceeding down the street when a little girl, aged 13, whose father is H. W. Lawton, of the Agricultural Department's stall', stepped off the footpath to cross the road. She has almost passed in front of the lorry, which was travelling at about four to five miles an hour, when she stepped back and was knocked down and killed by a wheel passing over her body.
