WELLINGTON SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Prea3 Association. Wellington, Yesterday. In the Supreme Court, Walter Henry Newman, for theft from the person, was sentenced to be detained for reformative treatment for a period not exceeding four years. Accused is already undergoing imprisonment. Lawrie Da vies, for breaking and entering, was sentenced to a year's hard labor and thereafter detained for reformative treatment for a period not exceeding four years. Norman Davies, for forgery of receipts for money due to returned soldiers, was fined £2o and ordered to remain in prison until the money was paid. .Tohn Cliiford Zimmerman, for theft at Woodville of a postage package, was fined £lO, and ordered to be kept in gaol until the amount was paid, but not for a longer period than six months. William John Smith, for theft of a horse, saddle, and bridle, was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment.
