"THE DIGGERS." That "The Diggers" have been able to fill the Empire Theatre to overflowing for a four nights' season is at once a tribute to their versatility and the excellence of their performance. Last night's programme was, if possible, more thoroughly enjoyed than its predecessors, and special mention may be made of the very clever wgrk of the lightning sketch artist. The company has every reason to be satisfied with its New Plymouth season, and their visit will remain a pleasant memory. They are due to give performances at Stratford and Eltham after leaving here to-
