A MOTOR ACCIDENT.
pnv KILLED; ANOTHER INJURED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Greymouth, Last Night. A terrible accident happened about 6.40 this waning. A motor car driven by Mr. Watson, mine manager of the Blackball Coai Company, was proceeding from Blackball to Greymouth, and the occupants of the car were Mr. Watson and his wife and J. Sinclair and his wife. The party were oft their way to Greymouth and when proceeding across a crossing near Ngahere an incoming train from Beefton, which was not noticed by Mr. Watson, strode the rear portion of the car, cansing a great smash. The lawes were in the back seat of the car sad Mrs Watson was literally cut to pieces. Death was instanteous. Mrs Sinclair was badly injured and her tip is brdlcen. She was taken to the hospital Neither of the male occupants were injtted, but they bad a miraculous escape.
