President Wilson has declined to sever diplomatic relations with Carransa.—Renter Service. Washington, Dec. 8. President Wilson expressed grave concern in a letter concerning Senator Fall's proposals to break off diplomatic relations with Mexico. President Wilson points out that the Congressional resolution to such effect reverses the Constitutional practice and trill lead to confusion in foreign affairs. Senator Lodge, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, stateß that no further action will be taken by Congress regarding the Mexican question, which is now before the President for his decision.—Aus.-N.Z.
