BREAKING AND ENTERING.
THEFT AT NEW PLYMOUTH. Jack Johnston was charged with breaking and entering the dwelling of Frederick Wallis at New Plymouth-on or about August 26th, and stealing therefrom a gold watch valued at £3 10s; and a I money box containing 5s lOd; also with receiving the same goods, well knowing them to have been stolen. He was also further charged with breaking and entering the dwelling of Wm. Allen, at Vogeltown, and stealing therefrom a cameo brooch valued at £1 las, and a 10a note and oilier moneys. I Accused pleaded guilty, -and was re- j manded till this morning for sentence.
