Sales wero not Held owing to the recent lack of demand, but ft fair trade Is passing privately. THE WOOL SALES. Received Dec. 7, 5 5 p.m. London, Dec. 3. At the wool sales, a small but good selection of raerino3 was offered. Trices were unchanged. Flue crossbreds unchanged, lower crossbreds irregular. An Australian lot brought 124 Mid—a record. Shares: T. and O. £650 to £BTO, Tallßman 7s lid to 12s 6d. LONDON MARKETS. Messrs. Dalgety and Co. Ltd, are in receipt of a cablo from their London house under date Dec. l, reading as follows: Tallow.—There will lie no public sales held liils week. There are no buyers at the moment. Wool.—The attendance of buyers at the salo is large, competition animated with an averEgo selection. Merinos generally are from par to 5 per cent, higher. Fine medium crossbred unchanged. AH crossbreds are very Arm and prices are unchanged except tor coarse, dingy, and cotted crossbreds which are I) per cent lower compared with last sale's closing rates.
