Washington, Dec. 3. j Mr. Aiflrra-t, in the Senate, said the United States .ought immediately to mobilise in view of the threatening character of the Mexican forces on the American border. For five years the United States has stood unheard of insults and ought to, at last, protect Americans within America's borders. Mr. Fall, in the Senate, referring to Bolshevistic literature, said Mexican diplomatic officers in the United States had distributed & book entitled "Conspiracy Against Mexico.'' The author was an Aorttaliaa named Arthur Thomson, and the book defended the Soviet Government. Mr. Fall subsequently admitted that the State Department held proofs that Cam-en approved of Thomson's Cable Assn. j :ANBWNOTE. PROTEST AGAIrSINTERFERENCE. Washington, "Sox. 30. The State Department is maintaining silence, because it does not wish to inflame popular sentiment or add to the seriousness of the situation. Senator Fall, in the Senate, offered a resolution to sever foreign relations with Mexico. Senator Fall, as chairman of the committee which is .investigating Mexican affairs, alleged that the Mexicans were actively distributing Bolshevistic literature in the United States. Evidence had- already Iwen collected which would astound the world if revealed. The resolution was referred to the Foreign Relations Committee. Mexico City, Dec. 3.
