NEW YEAR TOURNAMENT. Tho usual tournament will bo held on the, New Plymouth, West End, and Fltzroy greens on New Year's day and January 2 under tho auspices of the Taranakl Bowling Centre, and will close with tho secretary, Mr. A. T. Moore, at 8,30 In tho evening of December 23' The entry fee will be 10s per rink. Section games will be of 1G heads, and semi-finals and final 21 heads. Play will commence at 9 o'clock each day. Hawera rinks in a banner match against Stratford this afternoon on the Hawera green, will bo chosen from tho following: C. E. Hollard, Ilimlop, Maslin, W. Spend-. \V. Rohe'rtson Foden, A.
