ELUCIDATION REQUIRED.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—Thero Is a paragraph in Mr. Nash's letter appearing iu your Issue of this morning, which I think demands elucidation. Speaking of the profits on the electric light system, lie says, "which profit in its turn is transferred to the pockets of one or two of the wealthier citizens, who," etc. If this statement is true, I'm sure the general public would like to know who these one or two men are, and how the transference Is effected, and Mr, Nash will woll deserve the thanks of the community. I await Mr, Nash's reply with Interest.—l am, etc., C. E. BAKER.
