' —~ ( CONFERENCE ON WAGES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The conference of owners of municipal and private tramways in New Zealand and representatives of the Tramway Employees' Federation concluded to-day. Full consideration was given to the counter-proposals submitted by the owners, much time being devoted to a discussion of the minimum wage, but the conference failed to come to any agreement.
