BRITISH RAILWAY STRIKE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. ' London, Nov. 22. Mr. C. T. Cramp, president of the National Union of Railwaymen, addressing the Glasgow University Socialist Club, defemU'J the railway strike. He roused hitter opposition by likening the railway strike to the attitude of the doctors towards national insurance when first introduced. The students, jeering and hissing, broke up the meeting, and hustled Mr. Cramp to tho railway "sta-tion.—Aus.-N.. Cable Assn. WILD SCENE IN LONDONDERRY. London, Nov. 22. There was a wild scene in a crowded street in Londonderry. A number of ex-soldiers and others, shouting ''Up rebels," attacked arid severely handled several soldiers of the Dorset regiment. The police vainly endeavored to rescue the soldiers, who sheltered in a Salvation Army hall. A detachment of troops with fixed bayonets dispersed the riot-ers.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
