THE POSITION IN QUEENSLAND. ' By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Nov. 25, 5.5 p.m. Brisbane, Nov. 26. Much- unemployment prevails in the city and other centres. Deputations have constantly heckled the Government since Mr. T. J. Ryan's retirement from the' Premiership of Queensland. Failing to secure satisfaction, they appealed to Mr. W. M. Hughes to relieve the situation. Mr. Hughes, who is rigorously pushing his political campaign in Queensland, promised to provide work by pushing on with Commonwealth publlic works.—Aus.-N.Z.
