EMPIRE LEGISLATION. London, Nov. 3. In the House of Commons to-day Mr. Amery, Under-Secretary for the Colonies, stated thai he hoped that reciprocal Empire legislation would soon be. operating, by means of which.maintenance orders could be enforced against husbands who deserted their wives and went to another part of the Empire.
