ROBBERIES IN PARIS. London, Nov. S. The correspondent of the Times at Paris reports that.daring burglaries are increasing alarmingly in France. The thieves mostly use motor-cars. The latest example of this was when four men knocked down railway messengers at Havre, seized £4480 intended for the payment of wages, and escaped with a high-poweied stolen car, which they sold later. Another gang tried to hold up the passengers un a tram ear in a Paris suburb. A thief evaded the guard at the Louvre and stole a gold Roman chain.
