INITIATING THE NEW SYSTEM. Reserves (including domains and cemetery).—Cr. Collis (chairman), the General Manager, and the Borougn Engineer. Housing, Town Planning, and Building By-Laws—Cr. Griffiths (chairmanl, the General Manager, and Borough Engineer. : works Purchase, Cr Hayden i (chairman), the Mayor, Cr. Brooler, and the General Manager. Public Health. Public Welfare, and Safety. Controlling general inspector's department, sanitary services, public health, sale of food, upkeep of public conveniences, baths, band, seaside, reserves, potfnds, storage of dangerous goods, fire escapes, theatres, and places of public amusement or resort, street traffic, and licensing of vehicles: Cr. Hill (chairman), the General Manager, and the Chief Inspector. Temporary, Sub-Commit tees.—asreets Sub-Committee reporting to General Purposes Committee through the Public Works Management Committee, and dealing with matters referred to it: The Mayor (chairman), Crs. Hill, Parkin, and ShortFinance.—The Mayor (chairman), Crs. Hill, and Parkin. Labor Disputes.—The Mayor (chairman), Crs. Hayden and Parkin, the General Manager, and the Engineer.
