GALLANT LAND GIRL.
WEDS. MAN SHE SAVED. London, Nov. 8. Peggy Fisher, a land-girl, was married to-day to the irlscharged soldier whom she rescued from a bull. Twelve land-girls drew her to the church, in a farm cart. > Peggy Fisher won a medal and a husband by attacking a bull which was goring a discharged soldier "who worked on the same farm. « . Miss Fisher kicked the animal's snout with her heavy hob-naileife boots until tho animal Tan away. For this she was awarded the Distinguished Service Bar, called the Victoria Cross of the Land Army.
