WITHDRAWAL OF THE FLEET. By Telegraph.— Tress Assn.—Copyright. Received Nov. 23, 3.5 p.m. London, Nov. 19. ■ The Admiralty states that the bulk of the British Fleet will return from the Baltic very shortly. During the winter British vessels will merely enter the Southern. Baltic ports for police purposes.—Reuter Service. Received Nov. 24, 1 a.m. London, Nov. 20. Mr. Lloyd George, in the House, of Commons, said that it was not proposed that the British Fleet should control the Baltic in the spring.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable ■ Assn.
